Our new prints have been in the works for the gestation period of a baby horse (which is over 11 months and entirely too long to be pregnant, don’t you think!?)… but they are – at long last – here!
We are so thrilled with the incredible artwork of Flora Waycott who designed these new prints for us, and with the workmanship of our wonderful factory. We hope you love them as much as we do.
A bastion is associated with castles as a bulwark from which defence of the castle can be undertaken. And one of the synonyms for bastion is “stronghold” which we think is kind of cool considering nappies are meant to be strongholds! But more than that, Bastion is named after one of our sons who has a love for adventures of far off and long ago. We included the scroll and the bow and arrow for our daughter who has a minor obsession with Lord of the Rings. And of course the key is for our babies who hold the keys to our hearts. Too corny? 🙂
We hope your little adventurer loves this print.
There are many Aussie icons and it was very difficult to choose just a few, but we’re thrilled with the colour combination of kangaroos, koalas, dingoes and kingfishers, alongside our beautiful gum leaves, bottlebrush and wattles. We really wanted a hand-painted feel for this one and we think Flora did an absolutely superb job. Maybe there’s an Icon V2 somewhere in the future with other Australian flora and fauna?!
Nurture is all about growing and nurturing. It’s about grubby little fingers and toes, being outside, watching things live and move… and it’s about food. Lots and lots and lots of food. Always food. All the time. It’s about childhood, really! The rabbits are a bit cheeky because who actually wants a rabbit in the veggie patch, right?!
