Reusable wet bags were designed to help cloth nappying parents keep soiled nappies away from their clean nappies while out and about, but have since been embraced by people in all walks of life as an excellent practical alternative to plastic bags. They are made from a special water-resistant fabric called polyurethane laminate (PUL) and as such, are useful for a variety of purposes that require keeping something damp away from something dry (or vice versa!).
Australian consumers currently use 3.92 billion plastic bags each year, and these bags have an average life of 12 minutes. The estimated time for breakdown of these bags is between 20 and 1000 years, depending on the conditions.
Now is the time to ditch our love affair with plastic and the useful wet bag is a great way to help us do that.
A family day at the beach with an infant shouldn’t need the logistics of Napoleon, or the load-carrying capacity of a military transporter. That’s why we love our Seedling Baby Beach Bag. Colour coordinated to match the popular Paddle Pants, these handy bags can fit swimmers, a towel, clean dry clothes or a day's worth of cloth nappies.
Designed to keep damp clothing and nappies away from your dry items, but it is not recommended for use with items that are soaked or dripping wet.
